In "The Natural", the restored South Dayton depot is where Robert Redford embarks on the train at the beginning of the movie. AKA Stubbville - South Dayton is transformed into Stubbville, KS for the filming of "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles," starring John Candy and Steve Martin. Scenes are also shot in Gowanda for the movie that depicts the misadventures of two fellows attempting to get home to their families for the holidays.
