A 1963 photo in ERIE RR in COLOR II pg 62 shows a dock at this end of building that was served direct from the eastbound main.I believe it was a stop for the milk train and in the late 50's saw reefers spotted there. Prior to the 1925 rebuilding of line to 4 tracks this was the location of the passenger station and Broadway crossed at grade . The large object to right of building is an upended concrete track bumper that launched a caboose nearly vertical against the retaining wall behind it.I think photo made the Herald News. |
