Clyde/GM 2170-class GL26C-2 2173D rests at the Rockhampton station at 8:30PM on a balmy autumn night. It wears what's called an "Eagle" scheme, which should soon be patched with Aurizon markings. The unit was delivered in 1982 and is mechanically similar to an SD38-2 with a 16-645 power plant putting out about 2000HP. |
