BNSF Transfer Job Y-BIR104 has just interchanged with NS at North Yard & gets ready to head back to East Thomas Yard with a pair of blue & white GP38-2s for power nicknamed Smurfs for their blue & white color scheme, the 2046 is a former Penn Central/Conrail/GMTX GP38-2 & the 2048 is a former EMDX/MKT GP40 that has been rebuilt to GP38-2 sepcifications
