| The snowshield behind the cab gives away this big EMD's heritage as a graduate of GMD Canada rather than EMD LaGrange. Delivered in September 1971 to Canadian National as SD40 5211, this locomotive has been rebuilt and reclassified as an SD40-3. Still wearing the grey and orange of Alstom Canada but patched for new owner Texas Rockcrusher and leading a rock train uphill into Brownwood. |
