Originally built by the Wheeling & Lake Erie shops as #3976, a class B-5 switcher, it ended up renumbered and on the Nickel Plate roster by June of 1951. It was sold for scrap on Jan. 22, 1953 to National Iron & Metals. This is a C.W. Burns photo. |
