| The sad remains of the former NH line to Newport, RI. This part of the line was taken out of service after 1980 when the Sakonnett River Bridge was damged by an overweight train and later by a barge in 1988. Club St crosses this nice bridge. Tracks are intact, however. Talk has come about over the years of MBTA service to Newport. |
