| A pair of VL-class units shunt cars by the city's passenger station. The 12 VL-class units were built by unique builder AVTEQ in Melbourne in 2006-07 and are all owned by Chicago Freight Car Leasing-Australia. (CFCLA). They have EMD 16-645 engines rated at 3300HP each and are usually leased to operators in New South Wales and Victoria. CFCLA's main shop is about a mile south of the depot; it leases power and cars to operators throughout the country. |
