This rather unusual set of transfer power was parked in the Southern Pacific's EAST BRIDGE YARD, next to the east end of the Huey P. Long Bridge. It consisted of L&N U23B 2749, SP U33C 8659 and an unidentified SP SD45. A typical set of SP transfer power here would usually be made up of SP Alcos and geeps. (approximate month and date) |
