In June 1984, there was a washout on the Port Washington Branch about 1/2 mile east of Little Neck, which closed the line for a couple of weeks while the repairs were made. These C 420s brought the work train out and were parked at Douglaston station, a very unusual circumstance. View is from the Douglaston Parkway overpass. |
