The engineer is hanging out the side waiting for a signal before moving the passenger cars in the Lynn, MA, yard. Built by Alco in 1903, it was a B-14 class Moguo later superheated by the B&M shops in 1918. Note the racks of insulators on the telephone/telegraph pole behind the tender. Unknown photographer. |
