I was church organist at a church in Jamaica for several years in the mid 80s. I got done around noon, and if I hustled, I had enough time to get to Bellerose for the mid day parade. One of my favorite targets was train 4012, which in the summer had a swelled consist due to it being used as a deadhead move for freshlly serviced parlor cars. Youll see a lot of it. I probably saw every GP 38 LIRR had on it over several years. |
