White River Lumber Co purchased FM H12-44 IN 1951 as White River Branch Locomotive 1. By 1954 No 1 was relegated to short branch line connecting the mill to NP & MILW. No 1 was transferred to Weyerhaeuser's operation at Vail. Then sold as an industry switcher. No 1 was acquired by Northwest Railway Museum in the 1980's. She under went a major rehabilitation to it current condition. No 1 is stored at the museum's train shed. |
