| I came across the B&ML flanger/in the yard at City Point this summer. The flanger components came.from the St. Georges Valley RR sometime in the 50s. BML installed the device on a flat car with limited succesq. After a season to two the components were sent to BAR’s Derby shop where it was installed in a BAR fertilizer car and thence returned to the BML. The fertilizer car was an assidned car when in service on the BAR running between The County and Searsport. /DL |
