| ELOI runs alongside NY 17C with a pair of new C40s and 33 cars. This train was notable in that ELOI only sporadically got east of Gang Mills-it usually terminated there, its cars forwarded by BUOI; and that it had new power. The train usually got a motley assortment of whatever was available at Elkhart, though sometimes that was western units off UP connections. |
