Tender Scrap. Here is an original photo that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad steam locomotive tenders in Frankstown, Pennsylvania, on 01 April 1962. Shown here is a string of steam locomotive tenders which had been decommissioned and were waiting to be scrapped at the PRR's Reclamation Plant. The next track to their left is the "through track." The silver building toward the left is the Reclamation Plant. Visible at the far left are two P-5A electrics. US Route 22 is visible at the far right, along with some of the homes in Frankstown. |
