| Tender Scrap. Here is an original photo that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad steam locomotive tenders in Frankstown, Pennsylvania, on 01 April 1962. Shown here is another view of a string of locomotive tenders which had been decommissioned and were waiting to be scrapped at the Reclamation Plant. There are even more waiting tenders up the line! Visible here (R-L) are the last nine tenders: 06: Coast-to-Coast; 07: 999330; 08: 999316; 09: 498955 (MoW); 10: 488998 (MoW); 11: 999341; 12: 999337; 13: 999345; as well as 14: 999346. |
