EBT. Here is an original photo that I took of an East Broad Top Railroad locomotive in Rockhill Furnace, Pennsylvania, on 18 August 1960. Shown here is EBT steam engine #15, a 2-8-2 narrow-gauge locomotive that was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during February of 1914. Its crew is running it backwards to the Passenger Station where it will recouple onto a five-car tourist excursion train and will pull it to the end of the line at Colgate Grove, where they will uncouple #15 from the train and hand it off to EBT engine #12 once again. |
