WIL-ALT-65. Here is an original photo that I took during a trip on Pennsylvania Railroad passenger trains from Wilmington to Altoona during August of 1965. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #4843 and #4852. Both are GG-1's built in Juniata during 1935; #4843 was built in May, but #4852 was built in June. They are pulling an eastbound coal train past the Harrisburg Passenger Station. |
