| Two days after Easter 1983, Southern Pacific SD45T-2 9353 was leading a quartet of Burlington Northern GE's - C30-7's 5133 and 5538, U30C 5307 and C30-7 5512 - north along the former Colorado & Southern at Des Moines, New Mexico. This was a 103-car SATX train on its way from San Antonio back to the Powder River Basin, and the shot was taken from U.S. Highway 87. |
