Everyday. Here is an original photo that I took of Penn Central Railroad property in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, in March of 1972. Shown here is Brush Run as it enters the tunnel under the Westbound Classification Yard on its way to flowing into the West Branch of the Juniata River a short distance away. Also visible is Pennsylvania Railroad gondola #343466. The Yard and this waterway tunnel were completed around 1902, some 70 years earlier! Photo taken just South of US Route 22. |
