A year and a half after the Illinois Central-Gulf Mobile & Ohio merger, freshly repainted ICG GP38-2 9565 (ex-GM&O 845) was switching in former IC territory at Hammond, Louisiana. A Cargill RENT-A-TRAIN was passing on the left, while on the extreme right were some passenger cars that belonged to the Southeast Louisiana Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society.
