| On my way to the Buffalo Museum of History (for my 65th Birthday) there just had to be a short detour to the AMTRAK station in Buffalo/Depew to catch some CSX action just east of Frontier Yard. And it was nice to meet up with a pair of young railfans - who were able to fill me in on the local train routine and schedules on this, my first visit to the area. Serves me right for not being prepared, I missed an inbound mixed freighter just as I arrived and was taking my time getting out of the car. But not long after was this eastbound intermodal heading out of the yard. |
