Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer who captured the odd odyssey of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #39, an L-1S (2-8-0) "Mikado" built in Juniata during 1915 and retired in September of 1954. Here, it's uncoupled from the two passenger cars and is about to pick-up the hopper car that's partially visible on the left. The date and the location are approximations.
