Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer who captured the odd odyssey of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #39, an L-1S (2-8-0) "Mikado" built in Juniata during 1915 and retired in September of 1954. Here, it's resumed its odd odyssey pulling one hopper and two passenger cars. The date and the location are approximations. Roy Healey Collection; #6 of 6. |
