Here is page 12 of a 15-page cover article by Frederick Westing entitled "This Is The Story Of A Pacific ~ The World's Greatest." It was published originally in the August 1956 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 55. Both of the locomotives in the top two photos are PRR Class K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacifics" that were built in Juniata. Top Photo: #5399 was built in 1924, rebuilt with oscillating cams by Lima Locomotive Works in 1939, and retired in November of 1953. Middle Photo: #3847 was built in 1923, rebuilt with rotary cam poppet valves, and retired in November of 1953.
