| Note on back of photo by photographer Anthony H. Perles states "CNR 5071, class J-21, on train 44 for Quebec." Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in January of 1913 as GTR #191 (Serial #51903, GTR class P5), it was renumbered in 1923 when CN absorbed the Grand Trunk. It became #5071, CN class J-3-b. The loco was retired in June of 1959. |
