One of only two Alco-Schenectady 4-6-2 Pacifics built for the Chicago & Eastern Illinois. The loco served for nearly 36 years before being sold for scrap to Erman-Howell in August of 1949. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo but since the tender has the loco number instead of the large "C&EI" lettering, it must be after 1941 when they repainted the tenders. |
