This signal is a fairly recent addition to the Monticello, IL, Railway Museum. I saw this semaphore with two "blades"--not sure of the accurate term-- for the first time on 6-15-2019. B&O and other lines used semaphores with two blades but I have never seen a semaphore with a searchlight-type signal attached to the mast like this. Further information would be greatly appreciated! |
