This bi-directional, "double-ended" electric locomotive was built by GE in 1954 as New Haven #373. It rolled onto the Penn Central roster as their #4973 seen here complete with the large "mating worms" logo. Not sure that it made it out of the PC era. The photo was taken by an unknown photographer. |
