AD&N box car 7733         
Four-month-old Ashley, Drew & Northern box car 7733 was spotted at a siding along the Southern Railway’s ST. LOUIS STREET LINE in New Orleans. The car was along Conti Street between North Carrollton Avenue and North Pierce Street. It had a CAPY of 160,000 pounds, a LD LMT of 162,500 and a Lt WT of 57,500 for a gross rail load of 220,000 pounds. The 5077-cubic-foot car was one of 150 (ADN 7650-7799) built by the U.S. Equipment Co. at Blue Island, Illinois in 1977. It was lettered WHEN EMPTY RETURN TO / AD&N RAILWAY / CROSSETT, ARKANSAS.
