NS 1800 and NS 1065 lead train 183 through downtown Birmingham right before going under the 22nd St S bridge. 1800 was the first EMD SD70 to SD70ACC DC to AC conversation locomotive and is painted with a special yellow mane and gray body to signify the change. Meanwhile 1065 is an EMD SD70ACe painted in the Savanah & Atlanta heritage scheme. |
