Sharp looking SW1200 switcher for the Columbia Terminal which looks like it just stepped out of the paint shop. Built by EMD in June of 1954 as Bauxite & Northern Rwy #11, it landed on the Columbia Terminal roster in the 1980's. Note the prominent "COLT" on the side near the front. Later paint schemes would cover that and put a large lozenge logo under the cab windows. The slide was taken by a railfan named Jones. |
