Here in the windy city is a visitor in unfamiliar territory, auto-train corporation GE U36B #4012 with a former UP Dome of some kind (known as maxi domes on auto-train) and a former bi-level CN auto carrier. From the information I have gathered, it’s on display in Chicago to promote the new Louisville service. Eugene Garfield really wanted to capture the midwest’s attention it seems. In the background is a few other interesting things to note as well. From my collection, no photographer listed, date is approximate. |
