Here is the third of three photos by an unidentified photographer of a motive power display run by the Pennsylvania Railroad at its West Philadelphia Yards in March of 1924. Prominent here is engine #3740, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during March of 1920 and retired in February of 1956 after 36 years of faithful service. |
