| An interesting display next to the DIR Two Harbors depot is the first iron ore boulder to be removed from a Minnesota mine in 1884. This was part of the original 50th Anniversary of Ore celebration in 1934. It holds a unique place in the history of the DIR, Minnesota and the iron/steel companies. |
