Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione. Shown here (R to L) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5701 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5701 was constructed in September of 1952. In this context, they're powering a six-car passenger train. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. |
