Unique to the Milwaukee Road is the use of welded rib siding on their boxcars and cabooses at first. According to most soruces, this was developed and used between 1937-59 and eventually applied to passenger cars as well. The image is from the orignal negatives taken by Dick Berry which I now have in my collection. |
