The 1246 still wears its original Illinois Central colors. This rebuilt SW9 is landlocked with two sisters at Saint Charles. They have been landlocked ever since the Paducah & Louisville pulled up its line between Dawson Springs and Nortonville in 2002. This unit was mainly used as a parts source to keep the other two running. |
