Title:  A passenger train rests at the buffer stops at Gare d'Austerlitz
Description:  The scaffolding above unfortunately hides a beautiful train shed. The station is being rebuilt new platforms are being constructed and all the existing tracks are being refurbished. The interior will be rebuilt in order to handle TGV Sud-Est and TGV Atlantique services, partially transferred from the Gare de Lyon and Gare Montparnasse, both of which are at maximum capacity. All the work is planned to be completed by 2020, and will double the activity at the station.

Passenger and freight at Wengen
Title:  Passenger and freight at Wengen
Description:  On top, an upgrade passenger train arrives from Wengen while on he bottom a freight works the compact freight terminal in Wengen. Wengen is completely car free so all freight is delivered by rail from Lauterbrunnen into a depot underneath the passenger station, and garbage is returned from the village also by rail. Every day one or two freight trains goes from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen and back carrying large items such as furniture.
