| On top, an upgrade passenger train arrives from Wengen while on he bottom a freight works the compact freight terminal in Wengen. Wengen is completely car free so all freight is delivered by rail from Lauterbrunnen into a depot underneath the passenger station, and garbage is returned from the village also by rail. Every day one or two freight trains goes from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen and back carrying large items such as furniture. |
