Amtrak Union Station
Title:  Amtrak Union Station
Description:  The Amtrak Union Station was caught by August I Staebler Jr in 1974, just a few years after Amtrak started up. Officially the station is known as Eddie Bernice Johnson Union Station (EBJ Union) as well as the Dallas Union Terminal. Before Amtrak, it once served nine different railroads.

Description:  Not to be confused with the famous Snake River Bridge near Starbuck, WA, this much, much smaller one crosses the Snake River in Idaho Falls, ID. An unknown photographer took this photo.

Title:  Former Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh Station
Description:  The former BRP station as seen from the former Erie RR right of way now serves as a BRP Museum in Salamanca, NY. An unknown photographer took the photo. I've been there and even more spectacular than this station is the massive Erie Station that would have been behind the photographer.

Reading Black Rock Tunnel
Title:  Reading Black Rock Tunnel
Description:  The Black Rock Tunnel built by the former Reading & Philadelphia RR in 1835 was the third rail tunnel ever built in the US. It's also still in use. The tunnel cut through a hill in Phoenixville, PA and is now owned by Norfolk Southern as part of the Harrisburg line. Jim Lockart took the color slide.

Description:  Located next to Nolt's Mill, Coal and Feed was a coal dump served by the Pennsylvania RR. An unknown photographer documented the simple incline coal dump still present.
