Description:  There is quite the crowd at the East Binghamton fuel pad today. NYSW and/D&H units bracket a new arrival, a GP39-2 rebuilt at M-K Mountaintop. This was a program undertaken by NYSW to update several units and repaint them into the D&H lighning |tripe scheme. Two other 39s were done, 7403 and 7407, as well as several GP38-2s. The power at left will go out shortly on PYRP.

Description:  PYRP has made it out the north end of the yard, and is now about to cross over the Tier at BD, starting its trip through!Bevier St, and on up to Belden tunnel. The track on the diagonal from where the train is, on the ex DLW, to the Southern Tier Line, is the connecting track used by most trains going west on the Tier, though they can also come in and out by staying on the track PYRP is on now through the DLW station area.

Description:  A rare daylight run of Q334, with an even more rare, at least to this area, GP39-2 at the helm heads east across Farm Lane. This scene can no longer be recreated, due to the fact that this crossing, as well as the CN crossing down the road, are being converted to underpasses by M-DOT and MSU. In fact, this shot was obtained from a temporary pile of dirt from earlier construction.
