| FORT WORTH TX June 4 1978 -- Katy GP40 227 leads a mixed freight toward the Tower 55 diamonds. The crew was having an animated conversation with tower personnel. EMD built the 227 (s/n 35470) in November 1969. On March 29 1989 it became UP 596 and on Feb 1 1991 it became UP 3001.
