Skies in the Southern Tier are famously cloudy, and days on end of solid overcast are not uncommon. Some dbys are hit and miss, wiith gaps in the clouds providing a glimpse of sun. Here train 167 catches one of the holes and a burst of sun as it approaches Devils Elbow, a section along the Shsquehanna River that passes around a rock outcrop between Owego and Tioga Center. |
