This side rod electric built by the PRR Altoona shops and GE was a 3rd rail DC unit with a 1-B-B-1 wheel configuration adn 80" drivers. One of only 6 experimental L5pdg units built - proved to be unsuccessful. Shot while in the Meadows yard. The day in 1933 is approximate. |
