Slope to Works. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train between SLOPE and WORKS Towers in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 06 June 1965. Shown here (R to L) is PRR engine #2355 and a B-unit whose number is not visible. Both were built by EMD. #2355 is an EF-25 built in 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower each. They are pulling an eastbound coal train which is passing under the cast-iron 12th Street Bridge. |
