Hazy. Here is an original telephoto view that I took of Penn Central Railroad in Altoona, Pennsylvania, during July of 1973. Shown here (F to R) are five bridges: a PC signal bridge, the 24th Street Bridge, two PC signal bridges, as well as the 17th Street Bridge. Visible on the left is part of a Penn Central Railroad freight train that has either stopped or stalled on its way up the Allegheny Mountains via the Horseshoe Curve to Gallitzin and points West. |
