Forty trains a day  Contributor's Pick!
Hard to believe, to see it now. This is what remains of the Erie, later EL, main line, seen from the US 421 crossing, 33 years after EL folded into Conrail. A few years of state subsidized Erie Western and a few others was not able to overcome the lack of traffic. Now its gone back to the weeds, birds, and field mice.
