The east end of Ayers Rd is well known. It was the location of the famous Tioga Center semaphores, just west of the grade crossing there. The other end is not as well known, but still photo worthy. The deck was removed from the bridge around 1990, eliminating it as a platform for taking photos; it was a popular spot during EL days. We see 419 rolling underneath with 42 cars behind its four units. |
